TÅ· Cemaes (House of Cemaes) is a village shop and cafe selling local produce, fresh foods, toiletries made in Wales, wines and ciders on tap, and doing it as plastic-free as possible.

The shop might only be a converted 40 ft shipping container but Ian fits a lot in. There is a selection of meat from four farms supplying us with beef, mutton, lamb and pork. We freeze the meat before it’s ‘best before’ date so you have the freshest produce possible when it defrosts.

The shelves are packed with groceries including jams, pickles, seasonings crackers, biscuits and chocolate. Bread and pastries are delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays; fresh cakes on Wednesdays and spicy freshly fried samosas on Friday afternoons.
The chillers are home to pies, pasties sausage rolls and oggies as well as dairy produce including milk, cream, creme fraiche and locally-produced Jersey milk yoghurt. We also stock the most locally-produced ice cream from Aran Hufen Ia in Bala, which has to be tasted to be believed …

A Buzzing market town (market every Wednesday), there's plenty of shops here for every need! (including a chemist, post office, gift shops, supermarket.)
